Working Dog Fashion

Hi everyone! I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have last posted. Breeding season is always busy on the farm, before and after I go to my full time job, I’m breeding next year’s foals! Well, assisting – I don’t do much. Hah!

I will put up photos of our Western Australian adventures soon, but firstly I thought that I would show you photos that Jackaroo has sent me of some of his dogs in the high-vis jackets I made them. They look great, I am very proud of the effort. In one of my past posts, I wrote about how bad a lot of drivers are around working dogs and cattle. There’s no chance of not seeing these dogs now! I wonder what the cattle think? Enjoy πŸ™‚

  1. What do the cattle think of the dogs in the coats. Does it make any difference to how they react around them? I would be very interested to know. And I’m looking forward to the WA report!

    1. I’m not sure what they think, I’ve never worked with dogs in uniform before lol! I’ll have to ask the Jackaroo when he comes back into reception and let you know. I’ve been absolutely flat out on the farm with him away, but I’ll try to get some pictures and stories up soon πŸ™‚

      1. I’ll keep you to that! I really am interested. I’ve been trying to ring a drover for the last few days without any luck so I understand your frustration with the Jackaroo πŸ™‚

      2. No but that’s the first question I get asked. He has a mob from Julia Creek and we have others on the road from Bollon and Brewarrina.
